Nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, which is a domestic airport located at about just 20 km away from city center. Taxi cabs are available from airport to Haridwar city, which cost about Rs 400. The airport operates daily flights to Delhi. Nearest International airport is Delhi, which is about 200 km away. Delhi airport is well connected to most of the domestic airports and foreign airports. However it is convenient to use roads or rail to Delhi and then take the flight to Haridwar.

How to reach Haridwar by Bus:

Haridwar is well connected to the major cities in India. The National Highway no.45 crosses the city of Haridwar and links it with Delhi, which assures a comfortable travel to Haridwar. Regular buses and taxis on hire are easily available in Haridwar.

By road, Haridwar is well connected with major destinations of the region. While NH 58 connects Haridwar with the country's capital - Delhi, NH 72 connects it with Uttarakhand state's capital - Dehradun. There is also good road connectivity between Haridwar and Rishikesh (25 km).
